Proximity: 3 blocks from the circle, 8-10 minute walk.

Menu: Sufficient variety of empanadas. Two veggie-friendly options.  Good variety of soups, salads, dessert empanadas.

Price/Value:  $3.50/empanada, $6-7 for combo meals.

Service: Efficient but impersonal.

Freshness/Quality of Ingredients: Things could have been more fresh. Complaints of soggy ingredients.

Pros:  Open 24 hours, empanadas are baked rather than fried, it is a DC institution, wide variety of side and dessert options.

Cons: Ran out of one flavor of veggie, not very filling (some were still hungry after two full empanadas), cash only, too doughy.
