FoodCourt Agrees to Hear Sushi Next TermPosted: October 19, 2011
In a 5-3 decision, with Chief Justice Franco-Malone recusing, the Food Court agreed to take on the case of Sushi. Next term, the FoodCourt will set out to decide once and for all which Dupont Circle establishment offers the best sushi for lunch. The justices considered hearing cases such as Thai, Pizza, Chinese delivery, or Indian buffet, but in the end it came down to a run-off vote between Thai and Sushi, with Sushi narrowly capturing the lead.
The FoodCourt is now accepting petitions for certiorari, and will hear the first case of the term on Friday, October 28.
